Spanish ferry operator Acciona Trasmediterranea is to launch a new line between Portsmouth and Bilbao, beginning on May 16th, 2006. It will be operated by one of the company's most modern ships, the Fortuny (which AT refers to as a "superferry"), and will carry both passengers and cargo, though AT is emphasising the line's mini-cruise possibilities. The special launch offer is thus for a return journey in a 4-berth inside cabin, with a lightning four hours in Bilbao, starting from £50 a head, or £66 if you want to spend a night in Biilbao.
