Burgos is a city in Old Castile on the N1 road between Madrid and Bilbao, and is as handsome and historic a place as you will find. It is traditionally conservative, church and army being the two dominant social groups. The site of the city council has no English content, unfortunately: you can find most of the city's important monuments here. And you will find a little more about Burgos on SPV's Old Castile page.Added on: 02-Jun-2004 | hits: 214
