Cartaya and El Rompido 

The main interest of the municipality of Cartaya lies in the ria and sand dunes of El Rompido, once memorably described by Turespaña, the Spanish Tourist Board, as "the most beautiful place on the Huelva Coast, with its white houses, its boat pier and scenes of boats fishing the ria and launches sailing towards El Puntal (The Headland)."
