Flamenco Information Page
From "Flamenco Chuck" Keyser, a great resource which he has, unfortunately, not updated in several years. Perhaps it doesn't matter - most of the material is pretty timeless. The flamenco compas, philosophy and theory, a beginner's guide, falsetas, audio files, and more.Added on: 01-Oct-2004 | hits: 239

Paco de Lucia
Is this really the official website for the greatest contemporary flamenco guitarrist? It is, frankly, a tad disappointing. Biography, news (not very well maintained), discography, a forum, a puzzlingly empty online shop and, of course, tour dates. Great background music for the entrance page, but nowhere else, and you would have thought he could have afforded to provide a few samples. Miserly.Added on: 01-Oct-2004 | hits: 216

Raimundo Amador
These days, you are more likely to see him playing electric guitar or sharing a stage with the likes of B.B. King than on the boards of a tablao, but Raimundo Amador's flamenco credentials are impeccable.Added on: 04-Oct-2004 | hits: 206

Tomatito
"Tomatito" was to "Camarón de la Isla" what "butter" is to "bread," and after the death of the latter in 1992, Tomatito went through a bad patch, partly because other singers were understandably wary of performing with him, which would have invited inevitably odious comparisons. This more or less obliged him to forge a reputation in his own right, and he has now firmly recovered his place as one of the great contemporary flamenco guitarists. This official website has his biography, a photo gallery, tour dates, a forum and a discography with splendidly extended samples.Added on: 01-Oct-2004 | hits: 149

Vicente Amigo
The man who looked set to take over the helm from Paco de Lucia two or three years ago has not been much heard from recently - the fact that this official website has not been updated since September 2003 may be significant (it does have fabulous background music, though, and some great samples under "Multimedia," including a full-length version of "Tres Notas para decir Te Quiero").Added on: 02-Oct-2004 | hits: 225
