Ayuntamiento de Valladolid

Spanish-only municipal site, with almost no information for visitors.

Museo Patio Herreriano

A contemporary art museum in a Renaissance cloister. The website is inexplicably sluggish, and you have to click for the English-language version from every page, which is one of the dumbest design faults I have ever seen.

Valladolid

It used to be said that the best, purest Spanish was spoken in the Castilian city of Valladolid. It is a stolid, provincial place, which only really comes to life during Semana Santa, Holy Week (though it does have a thriving film festival). Appropriately, this municipal site is unexciting, uninformative (for visitors, at least) and in Spanish only.

Valladolid Virtual Visit

From the University of Valladolid Business School's web site, a fair description of the city, although the English is dodgy in places. Try 'the Province' from the menu on the left, as well, where you will find some great stuff about castles.
