Archipiélago de Cabrera National Park

The island and archipelago of Cabrera and the sea around them are a nature reserve of great value. Access is by boat (la golondrina) departing from La Colonia de San Jordi every morning at ten and returning at six in the afternoon: the only facilities on the island are a cantina, so it is probably sensible to take provisions: dispose of your rubbish sensibly, please.

The Cabrera Archipelago is the "best example of unchanged island ecosystems in the Spanish Mediterranean." If you intend to visit in your own or a rented boat, or scuba dive within the national park, you will need the appropriate permit: see under "Organizar la Visita."
