The Spanish Inquisition

Wildly exaggerated, historically fallacious account of the Spanish Inquisition from "A Crash Course in Jewish History," a corner of an orthodox Jewish website. It is true, for example (just badly written), that "The basic accusation of the Inquisition was that Jews who converted to Christianity were still secretly Jewish," but "Prior to their (the Catholic Monarchs') reign, Spain was a collection of provinces - the two primary being Aragon and Castile," is simply wrong, a schoolchild's howler. And to affirm that victims of the Inquisition were invariably executed is absolute tommyrot.
