Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso 

The eighteenth-century palace of La Granja (the grange) and its grounds are the Spanish version of Versailles. Unless you are unlucky enough to visit in a summer of drought, the fountains, switched on successively in the afternoon, are the spectacular highlight - it is difficult to believe they are gravity driven.
