Ayuntamiento de Santa Pola

Situated on a cape some 20 km south of the city of Alicante, the attractive town of Santa Pola retains much of its maritime personality, though there are more leisure craft than fishing boats in its marina. It has great beaches, is adjacent to attractive countryside, possesses a picturesque castle and has some of the best seafood restaurants in the Spanish Mediterranean, yet as a resort it is more frequented by Spaniards than foreigners.
