While thoroughly in the high-rise Med, Fuengirola has maintained its Spanish character more than other places on the Costa del Sol, perhaps as it is more downmarket. This is the high-tech municipal website, with lots of things flashing at you, covering Fuengirola's town hall, tourism, art and culture, services like transport and chemist's opening hours, geography as in "getting there," and more, plus a commercial directory of restaurants, tapas bars and so on.
