Turismo de Torrox

Torrox is a village in the Axarquia region (capital Vélez Málaga), a little inland but with 9 kilometres of beach included in the municipality. The hill town itself is of Moorish origin, in fact was the birthplace of the great, feared warrior king Almanzor, sacker of Santiago de Compostela, among other feats. It preserves its Moorish feel and it is worth going out of your way to visit. The link goes to the website of the municipal tourist board.
