Costa Ballena 

Rota is better known for its naval base than for its beaches, though this is changing as the US presence is reduced, and the Playa de las Ballenas ("Whale Beach") from which this golf development takes its name and other beaches in the area are pretty well unspoilt. Costa Ballena golf has a 27-hole course, one of the flattest you have ever seen.
