Montjuïc Castle
Category : Start / Great Cities of Spain / BarcelonaMontjuïc Castle is unusual in that it has less often been used to defend the city over which it looks than to control it. This means it is a long-standing symbol of repression by Spanish kings or dictators, most recently having been the site of political executions after the Spanish Civil War. Nowadays, it is the home to a more or less inoffensive Military Museum and an incongruous (to me) Comic Museum.
