Barbadillo

Category : Start / Spain and its Regions / Andalusia / Cadiz / Jerez de la Frontera / Winemakers
Wine name more associated with Sanlúcar de Barrameda than with Jerez de la Frontera, though as Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda has been merged with Sherry as a DO, Barbadillo belongs here. It makes excellent white table wines such as Castillo de San Diego, better known than its sherry-type wine.

Fundador Pedro Domecq

Category : Start / Spain and its Regions / Andalusia / Cadiz / Jerez de la Frontera / Winemakers
Though most of the Pedro Domecq empire now belongs to Pernod, the brandy name Fundador Pedro Domecq seems to have regained its separate nature. It is a visitable cellar, and a recommendable one.

Museos de La Atalaya

Category : Start / Spain and its Regions / Andalusia / Cadiz / Jerez de la Frontera
"Atalaya" means "watchtower," though in this case refers to a 17th/18th century palace in the middle of Jerez. It contains two museums, El Misterio de Jerez, dedicated to sherry wine, and El Palacio del Tiempo, a clock museum. Odd that the website is only available in Spanish, but I would not expect any concessions to English speakers in the museums, either.

Osborne

Category : Start / Spain and its Regions / Andalusia / Cadiz / Jerez de la Frontera / Winemakers
Osborne is immense, and so successful at marketing that its black bull, the one you will see at the side of practically every highway in Spain, is emblazoned on the Spanish flags of many football supporters. It has not forgotten its roots in Jerez and El Puerto de Santa María, though, and its Mora winery is visitable, though you need to book ahead.

Patronato de Turismo de Almería

Category : Start / Spain and its Regions / Andalusia / Almería
There is much more of interest in the province of Almería than its coast, but I suppose it is not very surprising that this provincial tourist information website centres on the Costa de Almería. Its subject headings are Active Almería, Almería de Cine, Almería Golf, Monumental Almería, Natural Almería, Rural Almería, Almería Sun and Beach, and Traditional Almería. Oddly, there is no real English-language version of the site, instead of which you get a dicky translation from Babelfish.
