pateira 

Pateira de Fermentelos is a lake of considerable ecological importance, near the confluence of the Cértima and Águeda rivers. Quite what that has to do with this, the personal blog of one Luís Antunes, is not clear, but it is a likeable enough effort and, as he points out, has a section called Portugal Premium and another on Portuguese Art written in english.
