CM Evora

Évora is a very attractive city in central Portugal, not far from the Spanish border, its walled town centre (a world heritage site) containing more historic buildings and monuments than you could shake a camara at. It is also the capital of the distrito of the same name in the Alentejo region. Do not be deceived by the "Welcome" on the way into this municipal website, it is solidly Portuguese-only.

Évora Tourist Guide

The municipal tourist board's subsite covers the city's History and Heritage, Archaeology and Heraldry, as well as providing a Cultural Agenda (Portuguese only), and informing on Where to Eat, Évora At Night, Museums and Where to Stay (actually, the latter really reads Where to Be, which reminds of this Goonshow dialogue:
Bluebottle:What you doin' here, Eccles?
Eccles: Everybody's godda be somewhere.
