Carnaval de Las Palmas
The epitome of Carnival - irreverent, funny, anti-establishment even when paid for by public money... Las Palmas Carnaval is a riot, especially (but not only) its gay side - Las Palmas' Drag Queen Gala, for example, is arguably as unmissable an event as the more conventional Carnival Queen Gala. For some reason, this website has changed address from the familiar and logical www.laspalmascarnaval.com to the less familiar and less logical www.lpacarnaval.com. I'm sure they know what they're doing I don't think, and they haven't even added any languages other than Spanish.Added on: 29-Jan-2005 | hits: 153
