Colegiata de Roncesvalles

Guarding the entrance to a strategic pass in the Pyrenees between Spain and France, Roncesvalles is the start of the Camino de Santiago in Spain and the place where the Basques gave Charlemagne a trouncing at the battle of the same name. The link goes to the lovely site of the colegiata, collegiate church, with truckloads of information in five languages, including English.
