D.O. Alicante 

This wine-producing area is spread throughout the hills of Alicante province, the most striking wine made being the fondillón, a seriously aged red wine (at least ten years), considered one of the five luxury wines made in the European Union. More ordinary red wine is are made, of course, as well as rosé and white wine.
