Ayuntamiento de Algeciras 

You are most likely to stop in Algeciras on your way to or back from Morocco, it being the main ferry terminal for those routes. It is an interesting place in its own right, though, and you could do much worse than overnight there (do take care with your bags and belongings, the petty crime level is often high, even by Andalusian standards). The link goes to its Spanish-only municipal website.
