Ayuntamiento de Portugalete
On the left bank of the Nervión just as it opens up into an estuary, Portugalete is an ancient little place which now mainly serves as a dormitory town for Bilbao. If you make the trip to cross over the Great Biscay Transporter Bridge from Getxo (which I recommend), you will find it worthwhile to take an hour or so to explore.
