Guggenheim Bilbao - from Metropolitan Bilbao 

More pages dedicated to this spectacular building which has put Bilbao on the tourist map, much to the surprise of many of its inhabitants. They are to be found on the website of the Association for the Revitalisation of Metropolitan Bilbao, which has overseen a huge clean-up of the heavily polluted River Nervión and its banks, the building of the museum, the construction of a metropolitan railway, a conference centre, a marina at Getxo, and more (largely with European Union funding).
