Turismo Bierzo
El Bierzo is a lovely mountain region in the north-west of the province of León. Its highlights are its capital, Ponferrada (especially its out-of-this-world Templar Castle) and the otherworldy landscapes of Las Médulas, created by the ecologically ruthless mining techniques used by the Romans.
