Link profile: Tomatito

Category: Start / Culture / Flamenco / Flamenco Guitar and Guitarists
"Tomatito" was to "Camarón de la Isla" what "butter" is to "bread," and after the death of the latter in 1992, Tomatito went through a bad patch, partly because other singers were understandably wary of performing with him, which would have invited inevitably odious comparisons. This more or less obliged him to forge a reputation in his own right, and he has now firmly recovered his place as one of the great contemporary flamenco guitarists. This official website has his biography, a photo gallery, tour dates, a forum and a discography with splendidly extended samples.
