The town within the municipal limits of which lies the pilgrimage destination of Fátima, Ourém is usually described on the Internet as a "magnificent walled town." In fact, I think this is because everyone copies their text directly from Pousadas of Portugal and Ourém is more of a village than a town, walled or otherwise, but I've never been and I'm prepared to be wrong.
