Link profile: Cofradía de la Viña y el Vino de Montilla

Category: Start / Spain and its Regions / Andalusia / Córdoba / Montilla-Moriles
This is one of those gems that used to make the Internet such a joy when it was young and less professional than nowadays. For the Brotherhood of the Vine and Wine of Montilla is, essentially, exactly the kind of joke it sounds like when translated into English, a group of Montilla wine enthusiasts who treat the object of their devotion with tongue-in-cheek veneration, and a very cultured tongue, at that - the Brotherhood's "anthem" is In Taberna Quando Sumus (When We Are In the Tavern) from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Gorgeous. The website is only available in Spanish, and I'm really sorry about that.
