Link profile: Segovia

Category: Start / Great Cities of Spain / Segovia
One of the most visited cities in Spain, famous for its mediaeval streets, its Roman aqueduct, its Alcázar (Moorish fortress-cum-palace: the one in Segovia is said to have been the inspiration for the castle in Disney's "Sleeping Beauty"), and its gastronomy, Segovia is a must-see if you are based in Madrid and worth going out of your way for anyway. This is a very unmunicipal city council site, nice to use though confused, and not much of the English-language content really is. For tourist information, you'll do better at Turismo de Segovia, elsewhere on this page.
