Well-made, informative provincial tourist board website for the province of Pontevedra. I have to specify this, as Pontevedra has appropriated the name Rias Baixas, even though La Coruña too has these a number of these great firths or estuaries, sunken river valleys in the process of being swallowed by the rising sea level. But tourism at a bureaucratic level works like that, compartmentalizingly, and there is even a tendency to call La Coruña's entire coast the Costa da Morte, Death Coast, even though that name really only applicable to the bit on the north-west corner either side of Finisterre. Never mind, this is a fine tourist information website covering the whole province of Pontevedra, its towns and villages, what to see, what to do, routes, accommodation, restaurants and other eateries (and gastronomy, very important in Galicia), castles, spas, golf and much more.
