Link profile: Barcelona Turisme Total

Category: Start / Spain and its Regions / Catalonia / Barcelona
I have not always been very kind to Barcelona Provincial Tourist Board's website, and it's time to rectify, for it is now at least as useful as it has ever been and probably more so. Almost all its content is now available in English and Spanish (avoid the interactive map, though, it takes you back to the site's native Catalan), and almost all of it works perfectly, the main exception being the accommodation finder. And you will find a wealth of information here about the province of Barcelona - rural tourism, campsites, spas/health tourism, leisure / culture (what's on), sport / active tourism, "nautical tourism," "modernista" routes (that's Gaudi and the like, only in Catalan at the time of writing but I am sure the English-language pages are on their way), industrial tourism (of particular interest in this neck of the bosques), and business/conference tourism. Plus, a good deal of information and links for places within the province, its towns and villages, natural areas and nature reserves, and, of course, the sea and beaches.
