Majorca is a magnet for birdwatchers, the biggest draw being the S'Albufera nature reserve in the north of the island (not to be confused with its namesake, L'Albufeira, south of Valencia. They are both important wetlands, beloved by ornithologists, and though you do not need to be one to enjoy them, binoculars do make a nice toy to take with you (you can always use them for girl-spotting on the beach, later).

The other birdwatching high point is the Cabrera archipelago, 10 km south of Majorca.
