Barcelona gay and lesbian centre.

Portuguese-only page for a lesbian association. The page is colourful and inexplicably lethargic. It contains extracts from an interesting, if hotchpotch print magazine - click "zona livre."

Long name, the Federació d'Associacions Coordinadora Gai-Lesbiana. This Catalan umbrella group has a splendid site - previously the home of the famous, censored "Gay Spain - feel the passion" - which was extensively modernized a couple of years ago, and some corners are still not ready in English.

The Federación Estatal de Lesbianas, Gays, Transexuales y Bisexuales (why is the "b" not included?), the umbrella group for the regional associations.

The Fundación Triángulo has various activities, including street work, political campaigns, and a gay film festival. Their site is mostly in Spanish, with the odd page in English.

Excellent, Spanish-only portal for Barcelona gays. The usual - news, listings, reviews, as well as some video clips (too few to use the term "web TV"). Good coverage of gay politics and events.

A US online guide for travelling gays. It has entries for Madrid, Barcelona, Benidorm, Sitges...

This Catalan "Group of Feminist Lesbians" explains that they "think that we lesbian first of all are women and that our gender condition is more important than our sexual option," which is fair enough. Unfortunately, much of the site is only available in Catalan, the greatest pity being the "humour" section. To quote: "--Què diu una vampiressa lesbiana a una altra?. -- Fins al mes que ve." Now if I had said that, I would be a male chauvinist pig.

Hilary and Paola run this Sitges-based firm catering to gay and lesbian travellers, as well as offering twice-yearly women-only weeks.

A very professional, aesthetically pleasing site, in Spanish only, but with forums, bulletin boards, chat... The photo gallery (Galería erótica) is absolutely delightful.

Held in September. The website is not maintained twelve months a year, so may not be working.

The website of an English, online, gay-oriented travel agency offering holidays in a number of gay-friendly Spanish destinations. I can't quite figure out what they are trying to communicate with the name, though.
