Very new (2003) denominación de origen, and a very small one, too, comprising only seven municipalities in the south of the province of Cuenca, on the right bank of the River Júcar.

Very well made tourist information site of the Fundación Turismo de Cuenca. Now available in Spanish, English and, interestingly, Chinese.
