Spain and Portugal for Visitors

The main attractions of the province of Orense or Ourense are the capital city itself, with its glorious collection of historic buildings, particularly Romanesque, the Ribeira Sacra, the lovely wine-producing area Ourense shares with Lugo, the breathtaking gorges of the Río Sil, and the Vía de la Plata, the Camino de Santiago as followed by pilgrims from Andalusia. This is the provincial government's site and is an awful, disgracefully organized mess, not even available in Spanish. If I had put it together, I would have committed hara-kiri.

Lovely site, unfortunately not available in English, but worth visiting just for the fabulous Celtic music.
