My husband has already got a job lined up, but I haven't. Does anyone know what the job market is like in Spain? I am a qualified nurse, but will look at other things.

The job situation is a bit sticky, but no worse than most places in Europe. I don't know how things stand for nursing, though: nurses here have taken a university degree, and anyway the Spanish are real bastards when it comes to validating foreign qualifications - if they accept them at all, it takes forever.

Hello Carrie. As John says, the job market is not worse than most places in Europe, and it also depends on the place you choose to live (best places are Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao); so if you really want to come and live here, just do it. I'm sure you will get a job as a nurse.

Good luck!.

Unregistered User Bluesky Television is a new channel launching in a couple of months on the Sky digital network. We are based on the Costa del Sol but will be broadcasting to a UK audience. The channel will present a lively and entertaining mix of lifestyle, entertainment and sports programmes.

I am currently sourcing contributors for a programme on the channel called Property Budget Fit. This is designed to film properties on behalf of people who are contemplating a move to Andalucia. People will tell us what their budget and requirements are and we will source a handful of properties in the area to suit, show them the properties, and then get their reactions. The programme is designed to be the ?eyes and ears’ of potential buyers in the UK and our main objective is to inform as to the types of lifestyle options available to all in southern Spain. I would be very grateful if you could let me know if you are aware of any potential contributors in the UK who may be interested in participating in this new Television show. I can be contacted on the following numbers 952 853 176 0r 952 799 518 or by email andy.coates@blueskytv.com, Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any more information or want to discuss Bluesky TV, or the proposed programme, further

Many thanks. Best wishes.
