Internet cafes or cybercafes are still flourishing in Spain and Portugal. For those who can't or won't leave the computer behind. Most of these sites are only in Spanish or Portuguese.

guiaCiberCafés - from Servicios Andaluces en Red
A great resource for cybercafes throughout Spain, with technical data such as connection type, prices and, of course, addresses and telephone numbers. Scroll a little down the page and click on "Guía Ordenada por Comunidades Autónomas" to see the listing sorted according to region.

Alcala de Henares
In the historic university town of Alcalá de Henares.

Asturias - En Red
More an Internet-communications-resource centre than a cybercafe as such.

Barcelona - Easy Everything
At the time of writing, this international chain had two cybercafes in Barcelona and another in Madrid.

Lisbon - CyberBica
In the Chiado quarter of Lisbon, this claims to be the "oldest cybercafe in Portugal." Amazing how quickly things acquire antique value, nowadays.

Madrid - La Red
Actually two cybercafes, one in the centre, the other in the Lavapies quarter.

Santiago de Compostela - Ciberdreams
In the historic centre of Santiago.

Santiago de Compostela - Hackers
This cybercafe with the unreassuring name is in the new part of Santiago.

Seville - Sevilla Internet
I do not know if this will happen to everyone, but I was unable to get past the irritating flashing graphics.

Vitoria (Basque Country) - Link Internet
Another of those places which is not really a cybercafe as such, but you can use.

Hotels
Hotel Club
This booking service covers a very wide range of places in both Spain and Portugal.

Venere.com
An on-line booking service with great discounts.

Car Hire
Auto Europe
Car rental, motor homes, minibuses... And an interesting short-term lease option.
