the quality was not very high until the creation of the
D.O. Vinos de Madrid, where good red, white and rosé

San Martín de Valdeiglesias using the Albillo grape. |

A very old wine-producing and exporting area, which
sold wine to Elizabethan England. Red wine is made but
the interesting wines today are whites and rosés. |
