to the beach, near the City of the Arts and Sciences.
The only good reason you might have for wanting
to see the hotel's website
would be to compare rates with the Hotel Club prices.
The unnecessarily dreary blurb includes: "(The
hotel) is next to the port terminal, with easy access
to the city's in-coming and out-going highways and
to the airport. It is also a 10 minute walk away
from the train station." |

| This is an option to consider if you
want a functional but comfortable hotel in the centre
of Valencia. I have not found its webpage and the
most interesting (or least boring) part of the Hotel
Club spiel reads: "The hotel
is l ocated in the heart of the city centre close
to all amenities and places of interest. The hotel's
bedrooms are very large and fully furnished with
high quality modern furnishings and fittings." |

| The Husa Dimar is cheaper at weekends
than during the week, the surest sign of a business-travel-oriented
hotel. The hotel chain's website
is a bit of a pain to use and you are unlikely to
get a better rate, but please don't take my word
for it. Supremely blurby blurb: "Husa
Dimar Hotel Valencia was built in the seventies
with 'space' as the main motto for design. Located
in a privileged part of the city beside the Canovas
Square, this unsurpassable enclave makes the Dimar
Hotel a meeting point for business guests and holiday
visitors." |

suggests, a classic hotel facing City Hall, more
enticing and very slightly pricier than its sister
establishment above. Tired blurb: "Situated
in the cultural and business centre of the city,
it is only a short drive to the conference centre,
