Associação
Naturista de Portugal
Portuguese Naturist Association, bet you could have worked
that out for yourself. Portuguese only, look for "Locais
de Prática" for places to doff your kit, then
"Praias" for beaches.
Associación
para el Desarrollo Naturista
...de la Comunidad de Madrid. The capital's chapter of the
Spanish Naturism Federation (see below).
Catalonian
Naturism Club
Nudist beaches in Catalonia (in Spanish, but easy to follow).
One of the few web pages in this section with photos.
Costa
Natura
The first beach in Spain to be declared officially naturist,
in 1979, has 200 apartments and a choice of hotels.
Esplaya.com
Best of the Net
The clothing-optional version of an interactive map of all
kinds of beaches in Spain. Spanish-only (do not bother clicking
the Union Jack), but a doddle to use. Click on the area you
are interested in, run the mouse over the places on the next
map that appears and a menu of local nudist beaches appears,
or not. Click the beach you want and you can choose between
photos and a video (if your computer is up to it). Even if
your Spanish is completely non-existent, the 'valoración,'
rating out of a 100, is very useful. Excellent.
Naturism
in Spain
Article written (and well photo-illustrated) by Luis Cortés,
who is to naturism in Spain what Hemingway was for bullfighting
in English.
Naturism
on the Costa Verde
A very well written, photo-illustrated article on naturism
on the so-called Costa Verde, the Green Coast running all
the way from the Basque Country to Galicia. By Luis Cortés,
who else? Recommended.
Naturist
Beaches of Andalusia
A helpful list with good, brief descriptions from the indispensable
Andalusia.com.
Naturist
beaches of Cantabria
Not many of them, but attractive. This page is scrappy but
well meant, with photos and maps. Do remember that the north
coast of Spain is not the Mediterranean, i.e., it is less
crowded but much cooler.
Portuguese
Naturist Association
A list of clothing-optional beaches, in Portuguese, but not
difficult to follow (praia means "beach"). The few
links go to maps of the locations.
Spanish
Naturist Federation
The site is in Spanish, but the interactive map is self-explanatory.
The photos are panoramic and I think the location maps have
been 'borrowed' from the Ministry of the Environment's beach
guide.
Vera
Playa
According to Bare Beaches (see above), Vera
Playa is Spain's "capital of nudism."
